On Tuesday, May 12, the LHS Class of 2026 successfully hosted the annual Staff Appreciation Breakfast. Seniors from the graduating class came together early before school in the high school commons to serve the entire Luverne Public Schools staff, including preschool through high school teachers, bus drivers, food service workers, paraprofessionals, custodians, office staff, and administrators.
The seniors prepared and served a delicious breakfast featuring pancakes, eggs, fruit, and bacon with support from Sunshine Foods. They also joined staff members at the tables to share the meal together.
Reflecting on the event, Julia Beyer shared, “It felt good to give back to the staff who helped me through all my years at LHS.” The event created a wonderful morning filled with gratitude, community, and appreciation for the people who help make Luverne Public Schools a great place to learn and grow.
